All your favorites will be back! The Queen's Contest,
Barefoot Ball, Singer/Songwriter Contest, free music and
crafts demonstrations in the park, the Folk Festival Parade,
and two great Auditorium shows. Mark your calendars and make

The Original Ozark Folk Festival Queen's Contest
A 65-year tradition continues as we choose a Folk Festival
Queen from among our loveliest and most talented young
ladies to preside over the week's festivities
Wednesday, October 31 7:30PM at the 1905 Basin Park
Hotel's Barefoot Ballroom
This year's Barefoot Ball will feature The
Carper Family in a “Hillbilly Halloween” blow-out of a
dance and party with costume contests and all sorts of
frivolity
Tickets are $10 advance and $15 at the door
Thursday, November 1 7:00 at the Carnegie Library Annex,
192 Spring St.
A 40th anniversary screening of “Deliverance”
followed by a Q&A discussion on the making of the film with
Ronny Cox. Ronny will also have copies of his latest
book available for signing.
Admission is free but donations will be gratefully accepted.
Seating is limited.
Friday, November 2 7:30PM at the Auditorium
The first of two great Auditorium shows starts with
Karen Mal and Jack Williams opening for Friday's
headliners Trout Fishing In America
Reserved-seat tickets are $20 advance and $25 at the door

Contest as the six finalists perform their entries for
our panel of distinguished judges and compete for cash,
prizes, and possible glory

In a town known for its parades, the annual Folk
Festival Parade is one of the best!
7:30PM at the Auditorium
Our second Auditorium show will feature Ronny Cox
with friends Karen Mal and Radoslav Lorkovic. Opening
for Ronny will be Jack Williams and the winner of
last year's Singer/Songwriter contest, Michael Cockram
Reserved-seat tickets are $25 advance and $30 at the door.
